TikTok launches 10 minute videos
As YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels close in on the short, vertical video game TikTok extends the time limit on videos to 10 minutes.
Some believe this is a response to recent criticism of the TikTok Creator Fund not adequately paying its creators. With videos so short, rolling ads in between videos isn’t feasible – so longer videos provide the perfect storm to explore that.
The race to be THE destination for video content is on.
Documentary on the rise and fall of David Dobrik
Casey Neistat is releasing a documentary on Dobrik entitled: Under the Influence. It will cover a few recent controversies that currently have the YouTube Golden Boy in the dog house.
It is set to release March 12 at SXSW.
